Arashi is well visited by locals and tourists alike. Its shallow shores, gentle waves and short distance from the hotels make it a family beach and a good place to rest and relax. For kitesurfers there is always an audience, and almost always some waves to play in.
On the western end of the beach there is a reef called “Rancho” that is popular with surfers. Show respect, and don’t drop in on a wave someone else is riding.
