Boca Grandi is the second most visited kite spot on the island: a bay about 1,600 feet wide with onshore wind. Looking out to the left, there is also a mile-long stretch of flat water along the shoreline.
On the inside, a sandbar gives you plenty of small waves to pop from. From the middle to the right side of the bay a section of reef becomes exposed at low tide. On the outside, strictly for advanced riders, there is plenty of overhead swell. Just don’t ever drop your kite there.
